Switch Sockets
Iks Aquastar Socket panel (item no. 1006)


The socket panel is a medium with which you can control and regulate the function of devices connected to your aquarium. It connects to the Aquastar Basicsystem unit, through which you can adjust an electronic device to the necessary frequency in order to attain the desired results.

For instance, if your Basicsystem unit is receiving a 23 C° temperature (through the temperature sensor) and you require a stabilized temperature of 27 C°, you can attach one or more thermostats on the socket panel and adjust them (through the Basicsystem) so that the thermostats achieve the desired temperature. In a similar way you may connect a CO2 device to regulate pH, a pump to make up for vaporized water and so on, provided that the necessary sensor is connected to the Basicsystem unit (in order to attain the desired values)

Up to four switch socket panels can be connected to the iks aquastar system, each with four switch outputs. You can therefore individually control a total of 16 sockets.

Aquastar Dimmable Socket Panel (item no. 1009)
A variable-output (or "dimmable") version (item no. 1009), whose output can be progressively altered with the help of an integrated phase-angle control unit. This panel has been specifically developed for the simulation of currents and natural light.

For instance, we can connect a lighting system and adjust the brightness from 0% to 100% or similarly, connect a pump and manage its intensity.

Note: For the connection of devices to this socket panel these devices should have an integrated phase-angle control unit (i.e. we can connect a lighting system with electronic dimmable ballast, but we cannot connect a lighting system with simple ballast.)
